Re: Export to Google Earth - Issues 2013

I'd like to add that it would be nice if the push pins would include the coordinates of the points in the currently used system in the description rather than just the web address of microsurvey. Here's one I copied out of a kml made by Trimble BC as an example. -<Placemark><name>1</name>-<descripti...

Re: RTS has scaling problems

Are you scaling from a zero base point, not entering in a base point, or from a point in/near the project? Edit - not thinking so deleted a bad question.

Prompt History - Annoying little Bug

MicroSurvey 2010 Windows 7 64 Bit Dual Monitor Setup I use one monitor for the drawing environment and toolbars. I use the second monitor to put up the ACE or Traverse editor, email, etc. To increase my drawing area I've also moved the command dialog box from the bottom of the first screen over to t...

We are having the same problem now but with an Allegro. I at first thought it was caused by Windows 7 since I upgraded about the same time but after reading this all i can say is we see the same time message error and linework is not being imported.

GPS Local Transformation & Point Lists

If I setup a project in Field Genius in which I transform State Plane Coordinates to plan coordinates near 10000,10000 is it possible to view both coordinate systems in Active Coordinate Editor? If not is there some other way I can create a report of points in both systems?

Scaling Points w/RTS Headsup

FYI - Not sure if intended but if you scale points with RTS and select base point option by Point number but fail to provide said point number then selected points appear to be scaled whatever value from 0,0.

Easiest way to fix that centering problem is to get a third monitor. :D I agree with the box memory problem. I currently run the prompt history on the second monitor to enlarge the drawing in the first. I do not "span" drawings but may open two side by side. 1) Qwirk - Sometimes the prompt history w...

1) I don't have a problem bringing them in. It's once I have them in and have to edit a line or change something then alot of times the wipeout symbol is sent below other drawing objects or images. I wish there was an easy way to keep the wipeouts such as open circles on top. 2) This is a field geni...

Program Requests

1) In microsurvey I would like a command/toolbar button that will automatically bring all wipeout symbols to the top/front of drawing or bring a specific layer which one would place them all. 2) For FG I would like the ability to perform a trilateration by angles. Would be helpful to us in locating ...

Re: Requests for 2009's Next Update

Hi Matthew, this table command by default includes all of the datum(s) defined in the coordinate editor, but you can control this by selecting only the desired columns (or rows) in the editor. So if you highlight say your Point ID, Latitude, and Longitude columns - then the resulting table will con...

Not sure if this was intended but when trying to label alignments using new points - station offset method the numbers are incremented by two instead of one with chainage turned off.

When calculating area using Fast Area command it would be nice if the program would highlight the boundary once the acreage is displayed and then the highlight removed once a new command is given or the screen is moved.

Reverse Line Label Bug

1) Sometimes I have to click twice on the line before the bearings will swap.

2) If you have previously changed the linetype scale, annotate, and finally reverse annotation the line scale will revert back to 1.

Happens in both Standard and Premium 2009.
