Service Pac updates

As a long time user of MicroSurvey products (since mscadd 2002) I guess that I really feel let down since MircoSurvey has been sold. I own the latest version of MSCADD 2013 and had always kept up on the maintenace/support but due to some the slow economic climate did not renew my maintenance/support...

Re: Comments from FG to MSCAD

I am with you on this one, there must be a simpler way to view and report on this info. i would love to see that information placed on a seperate level so that I doesn't have to be typed in manually.

change symbols

Is there a way to universally change existing symbols in a drawing? I would like to change the X's to a simple dot. Thanks in advance for your help.

That is probably the problem as I know that I have that info on another layer. Can we put that option on the wish list?
Thanks for the quick reply!!!

Draw & annotate lines

Has anyone ever encountered a problem annotating & drawing lines by inversing between point? For some reason the program refuses to annote and draw a line between two points when I inverse them in cogo. I have the level active, it's not locked, the hot toogles boxes are checked and the pop-up menu d...

xref help

Haven't really used xref to much and was wondering if there is a way to copy in a portion of a xrefrence file? When i attach a xref file and bind it it appears as though the entire file resides on on level and I can not manipulate that layer other than freeze/thaw.

NPL 352

I have a NPL 352 that I use with a tracker and FG2007 and it works fine. Did you pick the right total station (I think it is listed as New Nikon)

Do you know if the new version will handle the attributes that can be enetered into fieldgenius? Having attributes saves a lot of typing :!:

How about letting us know about the enhancements that are in 2008? I just read in the July issue of POB about some of the enhancements what else can we expect.

active point editor

I somehow modified the editor so that it maximizes all the time which doesn't allow me the opportunity to see the graphics at the same time as the editor. Is there a setting that I can change so that the the editor doesn't alway maximize?
Thanks

Can we put the ability to assign different pen widths to layers not just color, on the MicroSurvey wish list? I don't think that drawing polylines is the answer and is not always applicable. Does anyone have a "standard" color/pen width table that they care to share?

Plotting question

Is there a way to plot different line weights (thickness) for the same color? It seems as though you can only one pen width per color. I know that other programs allow you to have different weights for the same color pen (ie set pen weights by layers).
Thanks in advance.

Kevin
Thanks for the stonewall patterns, they work great and your instructions were right on. :D

Glenn, how about a stonewall patern in the future. :?: Here in NY we are littered with stonewalls and while Kevin's way is a temporary fix, it is not a substitute for a needed pattern style.

Active point editor

In MSCADD 2002 when I tagged a point the active point editor popped up which allowed me to see all the points in the database. In MSCADD 2004 when I tag a point only the individual point editor pops up and it appears that the only way to see all the points is to access the active editor from the pul...

Kevin or Glenn
I am very interested in setting up a custom linestyle for stonewalls. The area that I practice in is littered with stonewalls. I would appreciate any help you can supply on this matter.
Thanks
