It may not mean as much when the person trying to give you the compliment can't even spell FieldGenius right.

Love the changes on FieldGenuis 2007

Just wanted to let you know that I used the new FieldGenuis 2007 yesterday and I love the new changes. I really am impressed to find a company that listens to the users of their product and does everything it can to make the changes that are suggested.
Keep up the good work.

I also have a problem with losing automap symbols sometimes. I like to change the layers of my point numbers, descriptions ect, so I don't like to use the rescale or audit database unless I absolutely have to because it relayers everything. I would also love to see what layer a point is in using the...

BEST TECH SUPPORT!!!

I just want to take this time to say that MicroSurvey has the best tech support I have ever seen, bar none. Glen is always prompt and goes out of his way to help me no matter how small my problem may be, If Glen is not around (which is not often) whoever is there for him does the same. Keep up the g...

I also still have the problem sometimes when I try to pick a few objects by window or fence window they will not be acknowledged unless I pi...

I find this a pain sometimes too. I found a work around, use the command copy entity formatting and pick on an obect in the layer you want the line to be in. For some reason it leaves the line in the database.

GPS AND TRACKER

I am a novice when it comes to using GPS. What GPS units work well with FieldGenius and with the Tracker. I am going to buy something but want it to work with the MicroSurvey products. Anyone use the new hand held units?
Thanks,
Kevin

I would love to be able to view what layer the points are in with the Active Coordinate Editor. I use Automap even with the auto add points to onbjects as all points with no decs go into a certain layer along with the point number.

I too have some problems joing polylines just as you have described it. I have exploded the polylines then joined the whole thing and that has worked. I do feel that there is a little problem as you describe.

Glen, I also had a problem with the undo command. Everytime I tried to use it in the drawing I was working on today I got the reply "nothing to undo". I did not try it in any other drawing and this is a drawing I brought over from 2004. This is also the 1st time I have run into this.

Stonewall linetype

Hi Bob,

MSCAD2005 does not have an easy stonewall linetype. I draw mine with the measure command. Have you tried it? We are located in Wiscasset, Maine and I have tried getting Glen to have them create one also. I told him we have stonewalls every hundred feet.

We are using the Tracker and the bracket we use to hang it on our tripod is cumbersome. Does anyone have any ideas where we can get a simple bracket that would fit?
