Re: MsCad 2013 and large coordinates

Hi Richard, those appear to be UTM coordinates, i use them all the time in Canada with 2010 Ultimate with no issues, that being said, i don't use the commands that you specify, and although I have a copy of 2013 Premium, i have found that it is not worth my time to use it until it gets fixed.

Cross sections & Alignments

Is it possible to have more than 1 cross section template on an alignment, set between specific chainages, or do i have to have separate H&V alignments for each set of templates?

_EXPLAYERS

Hi: When I try to use the command EXPLAYERS to add a new layer, my screen freezes, I can unfreeze it by hitting escape, however, I can't create a new layer. I have tried the command by clicking the icon, from the pull down menu, alias short-cut, typing in the command. This happens with all the explo...

Glen:

Same result.

Can I reload the file ltocx13n.ocx from somewhere? Does it just drop in to the System32 file?

insert_picture

I type in INSERT_PICTURE and i get the following message: Unable to start photo insertion dialog. Re-boot your computer and try again. If the problem persists then you may have to re-install the program to restore the image display software. Error code YP97MQ4 I really don't want to reinstall the so...

I rastered in a jpeg after i had done some linework, and now the image is overtop of the linework.

is there a way to send the raster to the back of the drawing so all the linework is visible?

I never had a problem with your support, I have a problem with having to pay for it, and a fee is a fee whether it's nominal or not. It seems to me if you develop software whether you are in the surveying industry or not, you should stand behind it, and provide support to your users (the people who ...

Paying for Support Bitch Session

I got a bill for $140 for "Annual Technial Service Contract". My fault you caught me at a busy time, there were still alot of bugs in the program and frankly I forgot about it. I paid 2 grand/licence. I guess I am just tired of the cash grabs as they relate to software. At least your not as bad as T...

I am using the Cogo command line, the toggle has always been set to sideshot, ( I think it defaults there).

Entering Numerous Side Shots

Is there a way to enter a series of sideshots without always setting the occupation point and back sight? I think I am missing turning on or off a toggle somewhere.

All our templates reside on the server and they work well, I just need to know where to change the default library settings from C:\MSCAD2004\mscad\mscad.csv to another file name or location.

I would like AutoMap to default to a csv file on a server, so all the machines are working with the same file, then I only have to change the file in one place.
