MsCad 2010 !!

Thankfully, I was accepted into the Beta test program for 2010. They have definitely fixed the crash issue I was having. This looks like it will be a great improvement over all previous MsCad's. Congratulations to Microsurvey for their determination to produce for us a wonderful program. I too am se...

Creating Separate DWG files

I use Layout Tabs for my Final Survey's and enjoy the flexibility of that method. I can print pdf files from the Layout tab and the drawing is perfect. However, when I try to WBLOCK the layout tab all I get is the title, notes and whatever is in the layout window but none of the content in paperspa...

Return report from Microsoft on submitting error

This is the information I just recieved from Microsoft about my crahses. I've not seen this before but it appears that there might be a newer version of Intellicad.... Should MsCad2009 update? I might have been in MsCad2008 for this crash.... Can't remember now --------------------------------------...

Thanks

I too have suspected the scroll wheel as being part of the problem. I've not lost points during one of these crashes, but have several times lost the work performed since the last save or autosave. My understanding is that MicroSurvey can retrieve the crash reports from Microsoft. I dont know the ex...

Additional Observations

The more I've used MsCad 2009, the more I'm becoming convinced that the crashes occur more often near an 'autosave' trigger. I can hardly get far enough along for the drawing to actually autosave successfully. Sometimes it does, but if it is going to crash, it will do so near an autosave time.

North Carolina also

I haven't tried to download any information from them, but understand that their system is just like that described in your post.
They are using it for their Flood Plain Mapping and GIS Services.

Anyone Using Linetypes from Autodsys.com with MsCad??

Has anyone else tried the Lisp routines offerred by Autodsys ? I've recieved an advertisement from them offerring their AutoLine addon to Autocadd and it looks very interesting, but before I try it, I'd love some feedback from any other users.
Thanks

Old HP Plotter here too!!

designJet 500 to be exact. I'm using Windows XP Pro and have been using this plotter with 2005, 2008 and now 2009. My issues are the wieout symbols not plotting on the hP correctly. They seem to work fine with the Oce Printer but not with the HP. Also, trying to print a drawing with a background pho...

Reply to Richard and #6925

I too have had screen problems with the drawing in Layout mode. I've also had the problem of the screen going blank while performing a modify command. Both in 2008 and in Layout Mode of 2009. I dont know if it is a video memory issue or what but it first appeared for me in MsCad 2008. While I have t...

Thanks Glen!

I have been trying to remember to send in the reports. I had gotten in the habit of not sending anything to them, since I dont entirely trust their security. However, in order to assist, I have been sending them in. I beleive that this issue is not isolated to just me, as there appear to be others. ...

2008 works fine

I have just switched back to MsCad 2008 and have not had wny problems with the mouse causing a crash with the same drawing. So I can eliminate the drawing as being the source of the problem, I can also eliminate the mouse as the problem. So, That must mean that 2009 has a quirk in it for me. I hope ...

Today

It has been crashing immediately after using the scroll wheel to zoom out. Three times so far today with that one. I might consider returning to earlier version, but I'm the only operator in this office having this problem. Other users (2) have not reported any problems except for one print crash. I...

2009 ... Crashes Repeatedly

I have been editing an AsBuilt Topo for three days. It should have only taken two at the most and I still have another day to complete it. My problem are the multiple crahses that 2009 seems to be stuck with. Mouse Operations: I use my left button for choosing line/text/objects that I wish to edit. ...

MSCAD 2009 crashes as well.....

I had it crash on the first day of using 2009 by hitting the Close Button on the Print Menu. I had gone to print and discovered a change, so I hit Close and Crash! This has been a problem since 2005 and continues to haunt us. I have tried to repeat the problem, and like Glen said, I can't get the pr...
