ANY NEW SUGGESTIONS ON GETTING THE SYSTEM TO ACCEPT MY PASSWORD? JUST DOWNLOADED THE SP#9,AND LIKE THE PREVIOUS SP's, THE PROGRAM WILL NOT STORE THE COORDINATES I HAVE TYPED IN. will not save

The header says SP6. When exiting,it shows name of my job,then also asks if I want to save a job named jobs2000/_0.flx
Am confused about that one. Thanks!

Is there any way to get the program to accept my registration password permanently? It accepted the password for about one month onlyand let me do calcs. Right now,it allows me to calc a point,shows the x,y,z in a little dialogue box,then when I hit OK,it gives warning message "no database"or "demo ...

POSTING SYMBOLS

I recall 2002 version used design pulldown for drawing symbols such as north arrow,rock wall,etc.Do you have this under a different menu now?
I tried looking in MS2004 under help index for arrow,north,etc. Thank You.

re-load or re-install

I have the 2002 edition;would like to use the cd disc to re-load(re-install?,not sure of distinction) to see if that action would cause the data collector upload-download to start working again. Do I need a special key code to do this or just use the old keycode?Thank you!

on attempting to contour w/breaks

Richard..worry to belabor this subject but still cannot save breaklines.. tried using the color blue,but they do not show up for a sec as you indicated.We get the message 4 breaklines selected,but that is all. contours using 3-d breaklines

Richard- thx again for the instructions,but we are not able to get that far..the basic prob.has been that when we select the breaklines,the pro- gram will report that we have chosen 6 breaklines.Good.When we chose the icon from the toolbox"display breaklines",it always says no breaklines in surface....
