fatal error on staking

I am also having this problem. But with ours when we select next point to stake, the screen freezes on top of the next screen so we can see the bottom part of the screen only, but you can't see the map section of the screen. can't get out with any of the conventional ways and had to pull the battery...

I can make the earth move.

Hi Don,
I had a similar problem in shifting to UTM coordinates. Glen and Richard replied to my post "CHANGING TO UTM COORDINATES" on March 23 2008.

Changing to UTM Coordinates

Hi Richard Hi Glen Thanks for your response on a holiday weekend. I have got the project moved to UTM coordinates. The only little glitch was the description and point numbers were duplicated. So I isolated and deleted them and then regenerated with the update drawing from database. Then everything ...

The problem I'm having is I'm well into a large project with lot's of line work and contours etc. It was all surveyed in rel...

Want to thank everybody for their help. Maybe more clues to help narrow down the problem are: the drawing was sent to us from a draftsman using a version of Autocad. The drawing was of architecture and had several areas of hatching. James of Microsurvey suggested we put 2 title blocks in layout port...

Layout one works fine. Created another title block in Layout 2. Moved around in 2. Worked it. saved it. Turned off computer. Turned program back on. Model space is good but layout 2 has disappeared and moved and overlaid layout 1. We deleted Layout 2 tab and created a new layout 2. Same problem. We ...

Line measurements

Good morning. I don't know if anyone else has run into this problem but, after I have created a drawing using cad line dialogue I assign symbols to the point numbers. If I didn't catch the layer the adjoining lines will assume the colour of the symbol. I rectify this by changing the layer of the lin...

Re: crash

Thanks Glen. You were right. It was a message to Microsoft. Because we were moving the scale symbol when our program crashed, we jumped to the conclusion it was the Undo command. Now, we have done this again, and saved each change to the drawing with Save As between 2 different file names so we woul...

Re: raster image

I'm having a little trouble understanding this. I know I can send pdf, but they want a workabl...

Rasters help

We have been trying to save a drawing (dwg) on a flash card. The raster does not save, only the original drawing. How can I send this with raster and original drawing overlayed to our other office so that it is workable, not as a pdf?

Thanks for any help

I was moving a scale symbol and it all didn't move and it left part of the symbol behind. I did Undo and mothing happened.
