Re: Field Genius XG (2003)

Hi, the problem is we can't track software that left here in 2003. They may have been demo copies that were sent out. Or dealer promo copies.

It would be a mistake to purchase one, because we will not generate a password for it.

Re: MicroSurvey 2012 release date

Hi there, The IntelliCAD consortium is not profit driven, so normal expectations kind of go out the window. The members fund the development and it creates software as fast as the funding allows. We expect the new IntelliCAD to provide us with a CAD engine for another decade. The core needed a compl...

Re: MicroSurvey 2012 release date

Hi, It's coming very soon. We are waiting for one critical fix to the IntelliCAD engine without which our IPN system is dead. We are really keen on getting it out the door. But, we have several other significant enhancements that are being build for release through the year. My suggestion is to rene...

Hi,

Generally if you start the program it will display the menu for Portrait, Landscape, or full screen.

If you start it with the command line parameter of -desktop it will start in full screen mode.

Great idea. So 5270.3456 would be 270 degrees, 34 minutes, 56 seconds. We would probably choke on the 4 characters before the decimal point right now, but that would be easy to fix.

Hi,

I wrote the core of COGO in MicroSurvey a little over 20 years ago, and I'm curious what exactly do you mean by North/South azimuth?

Re: .dwg - 2010 version

Hi Richard, Yes, an upgrade is being built on IntelliCAD 7 which uses the latest Open Design Alliance DWG engine. It is a full rewrite of the CAD engine and as such it has a number of new features. We will be releasing on this version in the fall/winter when it stabilizes and may be available in 64 ...

Re: IntelliCAD 'plugins'

Hi Richard, In the future we can expect to see a number of plug-ins for IntelliCAD that will work in MicroSurvey CAD. This will become possible when we convert to IntelliCAD 7. The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium passed a rule that all versions produced must be binary compatible with the Open Desig...

Hi Richard, We have been promoting our User Feedback system because it will give us a true indication of the popularity of new ideas. We need to know that features and improvements we add to the program will be useful to many customers. Hence the User Feedback system where our customers can vote for...

Hi Richard, We have sold hundreds of these devices. Some customers feel that the screen was too difficult to see in certain light conditions, so we sourced the highest quality anti-glare screen protector we could find. We now include those with each unit and this seems to have helped the majority of...

Re: Microsurvey- where to from here?

Hello, Thank you for your comments. It may be difficult to understand what is done to our products and also why. We make decisions on what to build based on the capabilities of our staff and the direction of our competition. When Autodesk announced that they had spent 119 man years on the redesign o...

Re: Is Microsurvey Windows 7 Ready?

MicroSurvey CAD 2010 is a 32 bit application that will run correctly on 32 or 64 bit machines. The question was whether the same USB key could be used on both 32 & 64 bit machines. It can. There is only one MicroSurvey CAD 2010 install and it works on both.

No, but if you have a current (2009 or 2010) version of AutoCAD, it is available to you at no charge. Some of our customers prefer AutoCAD for the CAD engine. Without any question it is a more powerful CAD than IntelliCAD, but of course the cost difference is huge. If you are happy keeping up on the...

Hello, Although we are unprepared to give a definitive release date, inCAD is now running on AutoCAD 2010.
