Multitie Table - text heights

When creating Multitie Tables, my text heights always seem to come out to a 60 template size (0.75 in a 1:500 drawing) no matter what I set my defaults to. I have my labeling defaults set to Leroy 80 and Style name=Bearing 1/Distance1. When I auto-add bearings/distances to lines, the text height is ...

The arc itself would still be there, it just wouldn't be linked to your database.

I suppose after the arc is drawn, you could remove it from the database (assuming you don't need it in the database) and then re-import your points.

Earlier this year I advised that we were making all the necessary changes to our software so it could be translated into other languages. This project was completed a few months ago. We are now making the changes so our programs will run inside IntelliCAD 7.0, which are the same changes we need to ...

Still waiting patiently. At this point I guess I am waiting for inCAD 2010, which would hopefully be compatible with AutoCAD 2008. I'm sure there are others out there that want this software too. It is the best of both worlds, with the drafting power of AutoCAD and the cogo/survey calcs power of Mi...

Advanced Movies sound problems

I've downloaded the advanced movies for 2008, but when I play them through help, the sound is sometimes "garbled" and the sound gets out of sync with the video. Any ideas?

Thanks Darcy, sounds like good news.

The way I read your May 25 post, it sounded like you still weren't sure about the upgrade, so I just wanted to be sure you knew I was still interested.

In case anybody is wondering I am still really hoping InCAD gets updated.

I've tried drafting an entire plan in Microsurvey 2008 and yes it can be done, but I can still do it a lot quicker with AutoCAD.

UTM Nad27 to Nad83

MsCad 2008, Windows XP. I want to convert my database from UTM Nad 27 to Nad 83. The help file says I have to download "NTV2_0.GSB" from NRCan, which I did, but it tells me I have to edit a file called "Nad27toNad83.gdc", which I can't find anywhere on my computer. Any ideas?

Lisp in 2008

Will lisp routines written for AutoCAD work in MSCAD 2008 or will they need some tweaking. Has anyone had any experience in this yet?

Is there any more response to this? Judging by what I was reading over in the Microsurvey Cad forum, Incad might never be upgraded. Is this true? If so, I'd like to know now so I can get on with keeping up to date with my AutoCAD software.

Well, it sort of sticks those of us using MicroSurvey InCAD in a bit of an awkward place..... one has got to eventually upgrade one's Autocad to a current version (in order to work with other companies and our clients) and then WHAM, microsurvey InCAD is rendered utterly useless. A shame, because M...

Glen, is there a way to remove this "hidden" information attached to the nodes, in case I'd want to insert another drawing (with nodes) into my current one, without creating any new points in the database?

I like that solution Glen. I've been rotating my entire job to my desired grid direction, running the grid, then rotating the job back to the original coordinates. Your way is much simpler. Thanks.

This is what comes up on my command line when I pick "Curve Problem Solver" from the tool bar:
(if (not f:load)(load "msdesign"))

The command associated with that buttun is:
^C^C(if (not f:load)(load "msdesign"));curvcalc

Mine also does not work. Unless I type at the command line "(load "curvcalc")". Then the curve problem solver works fine.

Here's what I do. In my Default Settings I set my Point Number text X and Y offests to 0, so that the insertion point of the point number has the same x,y coordinates as the node. Then when I want to draw a 2D line I snap to the insertion point of the Point Number, instead of the node.

Just an addition to above:
In order for the "Entity Filter" to work make sure "Filter by Entity" is checked under "Modeling - Configuration Settings - Data Extraction".
