Hi Ian, To accomplish what you want: 1. For Zoom Extents, there is no internally defined command for Zoom Extents, so I think the easiest way to add it would be by adding a little lisp routine to the file icad.lsp. It's just a text file you can open with Notepad. Just add this line to the bottom of ...

Yes, we should add that to make it quicker to check for updates. The IntelliCAD we use has been slightly modified to add more features to MicroSurvey CAD - for example if you play with the Undo in 2005 you will see it is vastly more powerful and reliable than previous versions. The reason for this i...

Glen made a movie that comes with the MicroSurvey CAD 2005 product.

It is posted on our web site so you can view it.

Normally a Flash movie of this size needs a high speed connection, because it is about 1.3 MB in size.

Hi Chris,

I would take a look at this movie. I think it might explain it.

It shows how to stake with a motorized instrument while standing at the instrument.

John, (yes, we know that you are John Roberson and not Jack Armstrong) It's obvious that we need to get a set of Sokkia equipment in for testing. Something is not being configured correctly. The Sokkia has a configuration file in it that we are using. Various methods are available to modify the conf...

Hi, We need to start going down the list to verify all the settings. We need all the baud rates you have set up between all the devices, and we need the correction method you have chosen; we need to know how you initialized the equipment; we need to know more about the Recon - memory available, what...

Hello,

We will need to get more information about equipment you are using, because this is definitely some type of configuration problem. FieldGenius does not work this way if it is operating correctly. What computer is FieldGenius installed on, and what GPS system are you using?

Hi there, We use Adobe Acrobat and the latest Word 2003, but sometimes Acrobat misses pages in the conversion. Occasionally we have to manually print out a page to a separate pdf file and then insert into the Acrobat document. Unfortunately there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for this beha...

The upload / download program is written by MicroSurvey (and it was written quite a few years ago) based upon the written documentation provided by Sokkia. The checksum formula is very simple.

Hi there, Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to have a color ranger in the office. We do not currently have one here, so there is nothing to report back to you on this problem. We are puzzled why the Ranger colors are so different. All the other color CE devices work fine, and we do not do an...

One of our programmers re-wrote that function and increased the speed by at least 10 to 20 times.

Look for it in an upcoming service pack.

Yes, it helps to keep it updated

Hi there, The main changes to the Activesync support are the addition of new programs. For example, if you have an older version installed, it will not look for or recognize current versions of MSCAD or inCAD. Other changes just gradually improve the product as we learn more about the quirks in Acti...

Leica radios

Hi Chris,

Usually when we were sent an 1100 for testing it also was sent with the Leica radio set. They seem to be very reliable, and since there are no settings on the radio to change, they are simple to use. Just keep the batteries charged, and your communications should be Ok.

If you are describing a box with 2 points fixed, then we are not going to move the fixed points, therefore the measured distance between the fixed points cannot be considered part of the traverse.
