Hello,

Can you send us the drawing that you created that is failing? Please send to support@microsurvey.com

Please put an arrow on the drawing pointing at the line you are attempting to flatten. We will also need the QSB surface file and the name of the surface you are using in the file.

Hello,

I took a look for this option and I also do not see how it could be done. This might be one item that we need to examine. In six months this is the first time that it has come to my attention, so I suspect that it is not used as often as it may have.

Hello, A quick review of the source shows there are a few locations where this could fail. They are all related to the creation of the entity. I would check to make sure that you have no locked or frozen layers in the drawing and then test it again. If it works, please let us know what changed. The ...

Hello,

Is your drawing in a rotated Surveyor's View? We have noticed and reported that when North is not "up" on the screen the selection is not always working as expected.

We have been modifying the IntelliCAD product where necessary to improve specific areas of the product. However, you have to consider that there has probably been close to 100 man years of programming done to create IntelliCAD. This is not something that we can absorb in weeks or months. Initially w...

I guess that I can only restate the same recommendation. Take the case with the data collector and hang it on the tripod. If it starts to rain, put the data collector in the case. It is not going to have a problem if you do that.

Is the Tracker built to withstand normal weather conditions, or is it not? Here is the problem. What is normal? It is normal for you, or for someone working in Prince Rupert BC, or someone working in Phoenix, AZ. They are entirely different requirements. I can tell you that it is not weatherproof f...

We therefore did not state that it would withstand any specific amount of moisture in our marketing information. They did specif...

Sorry Richard, I don't have AutoCAD 2000 on my machine. I have 2004 and 2006. Since AutoCAD 2000 is now officially (in Autodesk's view) "dead" I thought I should test with software they still consider upgradeable. :D

It seems like Step 1 is not working. You can do it manually by entering this as Step 1. Just type it at the command line and press Enter:

(xunload "mscad.dll")

Then run the BATPROC command to start the batch conversion program.

You should not see the Configuration dialogs pop up.

Cheers,

If you are getting the General Configuration dialog, then you have not gone through the 3 step process of unloading MSCAD, performing the batch conversion, and then reloading MSCAD. There should be 3 menu items in the batch processing section on the File menu. They need to be executed in the correct...

Undo -> Redo Question

I had a similar question about this "Nothing to Redo" message so we did some inquiries. It turns out that zooming or panning after doing some undos resets the Undo buffer. This is exactly how AutoCAD works too! :? Try the following steps in MSCAD or AutoCAD: 1. Start a new drawing. 2. Draw 5 separat...

See MSCAD 2005

Hello, The 2005 version of MSCAD has a "text book" closed loop traverse in it now. Due to popular demand, we re-wrote the "Closed Loop" method of computing the closure to accept the basic loop traverse that closes on the first setup. The loop "floats" because you are starting and ending at the same ...

I suspect what is happening is the default template drawing that is used has the CAD AUNITS value set to bearings (or it may be set to decimal degrees in which case we re-set it bearings). Unfortunately that would slow things down a lot. With 2005 we are keeping a memory array with all the valid points. That is why you can now roll the mouse in and out and see the numbers update almost instantly. If we had to do a check to see which points where on frozen layers, the speed would decre...

I prepared a Technical Note on using the stone wall lisp routine. You can read it here . I am not sure if this program is all that much better than the stone wall tip that Glen created earlier. I also found a nice Stone Wall hatch pattern that makes attractive walls. It is nice being compatible. :)

I did a quick internet search and found a simple stone wall routine.

Is this the typeof wall drawing that you want to make?

If so, I'll post the lisp routine here to do it. I downloaded it from the new.cadalyst.com web site.
