Best Field Data Collector

Just a query to all on what you think is the best CE field computer for data collection, based on ease of use, cost, most ergonomic, most features, etc. For myself I'm kinda leaning towards the Panasonic Toughbook 01. The only minor glitch is no dedicated numeric keypad, kinda looks like a telephone pole, i.e. no curves, but all else seems fine, plenty of memory, environmentally sound and ruggedized, fast processor, long battery life, excellent screen visibility, expandable external memory and a great price.

I have two TDS Rangers and love them. Our company is in the process of purchasing four more. TDS Survey Pro Robotics software on them. As for the hardware, I think the Ranger is the best- I had one fall about four feet onto an asphalt runway and no problem what so ever. As far as the software is concerned, good luck. There are several good choices out there. I personally am very happy with TDS. I would like to see a more seemless integration with microsurvey though. Good luck.
