mspoint is offset from node

Post by jfMcH » Wed Jul 23, 2008 10:09 am

I am using ms cad 2005 and the mspoint appears to be offset from the line nodes. If I use the cursor and place it over the mspoint it is offset +/- .5m from the node formed by the linework, yet if I use the dist function it shows the horizontal distance as 0 and the vertical as 375m. Any ideas on how to rectify?

It sounds like the drawing is not perfectly in plan view (so is slightly off vertical in the Z axis). Type in the command PLAN and press enter twice. See if this corrects the visual issue.
