If a USB key is purchased from an external source - other than from Microsurvey, does that key get supported?
IE will it be able to be upgraded? Will it be replaced if it fails to work in the future?
What is the cost of a replacement USB key in event of failure.
Someone elsewhere, here, said with the new 'Key' system we can trade just like any item.

The Key is your license to run the software. If you sell your key, you are selling your license. Each key has a unique serial number that is stored in our database so we know who the key belongs to, what version of software it is allowed to run and also when the maintenance subscription plan expires.

The license is upgradable as long as the key is valid and owned by a valid company. For example if a key is reported stolen we can flag it as such in our database.

If for some reason the key stops functioning we will replace it for a small fee. You have to send us the original key and we will examine it to make sure it is indeed not functional, after which we will issue a new key.
