Controlling Arrow size on leaders

Post by Michael O'Connor » Tue Jun 03, 2003 8:17 am

I've opened a .dwg file, saved it as an .flx and started to edit. When I add leaders from the toolbox icon, they come in huge. Where or how can I edit and correct the size? If I use the House Tie icon the arrows are scaled correctly.

Type DIMTYPE, select arrows and lines, set arrow to 0.18 or something close and try.

Leader Arrowheads

If you wish to type in the command instead of going through the menus;

DIMASZ is the variable that controls this. Just type it in and enter in the desired value. 0.18 is a good size to start with.

Then any new leaders should have an arrowhead with a better size for you.

The Leader is actually just a polyline being drawn. The House Tie Arrows are a part being inserted and are handled in a different way.
