Cogo
Is it possible to add another code to the Cogo bearing codes (Currently 1=NE, 2=SE, 3=SW, 4=NW)? e.g. 5=North/South Azimuth

Re: Cogo
Hi,
I wrote the core of COGO in MicroSurvey a little over 20 years ago, and I'm curious what exactly do you mean by North/South azimuth?

Re: Cogo
e.g.
I'm working on a drawing in bearings and most of my existing field work is in bearings, but I receive some field data/traverse data that uses azimuths and I want to compute that information without having to change my drawing settings to azimuths.

Re: Cogo
Great idea. So 5270.3456 would be 270 degrees, 34 minutes, 56 seconds. We would probably choke on the 4 characters before the decimal point right now, but that would be easy to fix.

That would be awesome! You probably would need a program setting to determine if someone is working with North or South Azimuths.
This is also tied in with my concern on this thread:

Re: Cogo
Is there a way to go back in Cogo if you enter in a wrong bearing/azimuth or distance without exiting the Cogo routine?
Nevermind, I figured it out!
