Mouse Customization

Can the mouse wheel be re-configured to act similar to AutoCad? I frequently must jump between these two cad platforms and depressing the alt key and then the left mouse button to pan (Microsurvey) as opposed to just repressing the mouse wheel and panning (Autocad) is annoying. Can the mouse buttons be customized? Thanx

Mouse Customization

The amount of customization allowed for the Mouse, by the CAD enigine, is limited.

The main functionality of the mouse for the middle button is the ability to zoom in and out by rolling the wheel. The right button is the Enter key and the left button is pick.

In addition to this, holding the ALT key and then picking, with the left button on the mouse, allows you to pan.

Also the middle wheel can be picked to bring up a short menu (depending upon if you are inside a command or not in a command will determine what menu it brings up).

Inside of a command then menu is the object snaps. Not in a command is a customizable menu (customized via the Microsurvey.KEY file)

This tech note helps explain the customization mentioned above: ... survey.htm
