when I tried the new project manager, I opened up an existing drawing. It stated there was an existing database would I llike to delete it. I clicked no. The drawing was not there when it opened up. What did I do wrong?

The message sounds like you created a new drawing that had the same name as a previous job. If you delete the drawing file but not the .msd file then the program will warn you that there is an existing database. It then asks if you want to delete it. When it finishes you should see a new drawing and a blank database.

The program should not ask you to erase an existing database unless there is one there, and it does not try to create a database if you open an existing drawing.
