Custom tools bar help...

Post by ianw2 » Fri Apr 08, 2005 3:28 pm

I had a major computer hard drive problem and ended up doing a wipe yesterday. (These friggin’ boxes are aggravating as h%LL!)

I’m trying to set up my tools bars again. (Joy of joys!) I can’t for the life of me remember how to undock individual buttons. For example, in the edit palette, there are buttons I don’t want/need/use. I used to unlock the buttons and pop them off. Unfortunately, I cannot remember how I did this.

Can anyone help me out, please!?!

If you are using MSCAD2004, the individual buttons can not be deleted from inside MSCAD on the fly. All editing is done via the DME program supplied with MSCAD. There is a movie in the help file that may help job the memory banks on how to do the editing.

MSCAD2002 had the ability to edit a single button at a time. You could right click on the button to edit the properties and unlock the button so it could be erased. This worked for the buttons on the left side menu and the top menu.
