I have recently upgrade from MSCad2001 and have encountered a texting glitch. When I attempt to use the diameter symbol %%c nothing appears on the screen, yet the key strokes show up in the text editor. This also occurs when I open an old MSCad 2001 drawing. The symbol appears when I change the font to a simplex type. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the CAD engine seems to have a problem with the diameter symbol definition, in the newer version, in some fonts (even though it worked in earlier versions). It does work with a couple of fonts in MSCAD2002 - namely the COMPLEX.SHX and AREAL.TTF fonts - there may be others but I have not tested every font as yet.

This has been documented and passed to the CAD manufacturer in hopes that we can get and then provide a fix to everyone.
