Prism offsets

Post by cadrum » Fri Sep 10, 2004 8:10 am

I have noticed on my iPaq 2215 running FG 2004 1.0.7 that I must set the prism offset to -30 mm to match the instrument (Topcon, non-robotic). After looking at the manual I was under the impression that the distances would be incorrect by doing this, but after some simple checking with my steel tape I see that leaving the offsets at zero in the iPaq resulted in that rough tenth difference. When I set them the same in my iPaq and instrument the distances check. Please look into this and advise. I also notice the same issues from my "iPaq specific" post below still exist in this latest version, but I do realize my post was made only a week or two before this latest release. Thanks for the continuing improvement.

We hope to post a new build today (1.0.8) that will address the Save Defaults problem, as well as the prism offset problem you're describing.
