Last week my Tracker failed to turn on or indicate in any way that it was receiving power. So, after consultation with Brian Sloman of MicroSurvey it was determined to send it back to the manufacturer for diagnosis and repair.
Not sure if it's the on/off switch or the internal charging mechanism. I will let forum users know when the Tracker is repaired. However, my concern is for 3 days of field data that was not downloaded prior to the failure. My hope is that the unit can be repaired without data loss.
Guess I'll install a compact flash memory card and download everynight to minimize the risk of data loss.
Anyone else had a similar problem with the collector dying? And how did the repair work out?
