Erasing points

Post by wfd144 » Sat Apr 26, 2008 11:07 am

Is there a way of temporarily erasing points and labels to unclutter the screen without deleting the point from the database? For example if i am creating linework and there are multiple points in the area when I am done I can freeze the line layer and erase the points and move on to the next feature.

if you erase the points then theyre gone and possibly the linework if they are part of the database - ie attached to the points.
Using Graphic Editor you could select the points and move them to another layer, or just turn off the points if they are still on the default layer - 'MSPoint'.
Similarly for the labels and elevations.
Not sure what your'e trying to achieve. Are you just joining points with linework? If so what routine do you use? Mscad has its own routines for joining points, and then you can just use Cad to snap to points. Result is similar, but implications to database entirely different.
You can select points by description which may be of use?
May need to tell us more.
