Command Aliases, Keyboard shortcuts

Post by carl » Sat Aug 30, 2008 7:31 am

Again I have recently moved from MS2002 to MS2005.

In 2002 you could create aliases for just about any MS command that you wanted. In 2005 it seems to restrict you to only commands that are in the list. I can use a keyboard shortcut but you are restricted in how many you can create and to what keys you can use. And I am simply trying to set up my aliases the way they were before because that is what I am familiar with.

Example; In 2002 I set up an alias were if I typed "cc" and hit enter the cogo command would run. Is there a way to do this in 2005?

have a look at this thread ... ight=alias
there are others - do a search on 'alias'.
see alos ... ight=alias
They still work in 2005 and 2008.
Yell out if still stuck.
