Revoked Licence - Civil 3d issues

Post by Richard Sands » Wed Mar 16, 2011 2:16 pm

I was sent a dwg from a user of Civil3D 2011.
Twice now it has crashed or messed with MSCAD and revoked my licence when I open the dwg.

MSCAD says it needs to convert the file which it does and then opens.
Then I get a weird message asking if I have the .msj directory open (No) and to close it. (I do have another dwg open)

When I hit 'OK' nothing happens so I close MSCAD. Only way to get rid of that box is to force it from Task Manager (Win 7 Pro)

Thankfully a reboot has restored my licence.
Without a reboot it tests for licence and after a long delay informs me it will only run in Demo mode!!
