new commands

Post by Vincent Popish » Thu Aug 07, 2003 3:23 pm

I would guess since there was no reply, that the answer is no. There is no way to get a list of the new cad engine commands, seems strange, since this is the cad ebgine that MSCAD is using. I will try going to felixcad or powercad and asking the same question, I guess, and see if they will tell what the new commands are. Or perhaps it is meant to be a secret in the whole scheme of things, better left unknown.

I have found 52 pages for you to read.
I don't know if this is the newest list, but I did find some new commands
that do work.

New Commands

Post by Glen Cameron » Sat Aug 09, 2003 6:09 pm

Sorry for the delay but I was on vacation all of last week.

I wrote a technical note on all of the new commands that we added to MSCAD 2002 Service Patch #4. ... pdates.htm

I do not currently have a list of new CAD commands, they simply fixed many little problems they had. There are a few commands that may be in the program that are not in our help or manuals, but the majority are not overly helpful for the type of work you would normally do.

"Vnote" is an example of this. It is not overly helpful in it's current state. We will be modifying how we use it so you may find it useful in future versions.

We do not hold back on commands that will help you in your normal operations.
