Trimming etc.

Post by GBS » Wed Dec 31, 2003 6:07 am

I use 2001 version and was noticing when using trim, if you miss the line you are going to trim the command ends and you have to repick everything you missed. Is 2002 different because other commands are similar to this and I know this does not happen in autocad.

just wonderin

In 2002, the command does not end. I remember the situation of which you speak, and, yes, it was frustrating if you miss-snapped.

In 2002, if you miss your trim edge, it slips to a crossing window trap. If there are no lines in the trap, it reverts back to asking you to select a line.

If you miss a line to be trimmed, it just keeps on wait ing for your aim to get better until you hit <ENTER> to end the command.
